We created Flow to answer a question: “what is in the air I breathe.” In the spring of 2023 we made the tough decision to dedicate this knowledge, system, and tech to advancing research, raising awareness, and fostering action. As a result Flow and Flow 2 are no longer for sale.

Fresh air is just around the corner

Flow was developed to track what we breathe, indoors and out—providing detailed exposure data in real-time: the type of pollutants users are exposed to, to what degree, where that exposure happened, when, and for how long. Going beyond the data with beautiful maps, visualizations, and other dashboard management tools.

HOW FLOW WORKS

  • Technology that breathes

    An exclusive 360° air intake design paired with the world’s smallest mechanical fan makes sure the outside air flows perfectly through the device. Reliable measurements start with thoughtful design!

  • Live feedback

    We wanted to keep things simple. A single press on the device’s button gives an immediate reading of what you’re breathing and a glance at the app will show you everything else. Hassle-free operation to make daily activities that much more enjoyable!

  • Hand-held brainiac

    Flow’s next-gen Neural Engine uses advanced algorithms to refine its measurements. With version 2, the on-board sensors have been optimised to detect down to nano-scale particulate matter and improve accuracy for gaseous pollutants.

  • Heavyweight tech, featherweight package

    70 grams of science: A custom 30x30 mm detection chamber houses a powerful laser detecting Particulate Matter through light scattering, while gasses (NO2 and VOCs) are measured with metal-oxide reactions using a tiny membrane heated up to 250°C.
